PLT is the place to be as a student. Here you see the most surprising performances, meet makers and get the chance to look behind the scenes.
We organise workshops, follow-up talks and in-depth programmes that match your study programme or interests. Theatre makes you look differently, makes you think and makes you feel what you didn't know before.
Sometimes you only really understand something when you see, hear or feel it. That is exactly what theatre does.
Private school performances
Going to the theatre with the whole class during school hours? You can! For many performances, it is possible to book a private school performance.
- Date and time can be arranged together
- Admission only for your pupils
- We look at the costs per performance together
- The brochure shows which performances are suitable for private bookings.
Technical tour - a look behind the scenes
How big is the stage really? Where are the artists behind the scenes? And how do lights, sound and scenery work?
During this interactive tour, students get a look behind the scenes, specially tailored to vocational education. They discover the technical world of theatre, hear about different functions and carry out their own assignments.

- Duration: 1.5 hours
- Cost: €120 per group
- Location: Heerlen Theatre and Kerkrade Theatre
Tailor-made educational programmes
Do you want more than just a performance? For many titles in the brochure, we offer additional educational components tailored to your class or programme. Think of:
- Introductions or follow-up talks
- Workshops and meet & greets
- Teaching material for preparation or processing
- Together, we can create a programme for a day or part of a day, with depth that sticks.
Last-Minute discount for students
Students and pupils can go to performances or concerts in PLT at a discount with our Last-Minute arrangement. For a large number of performances in our programme, you pay € 12.50 per ticket on presentation of your school or student ID card. Be quick, because gone = gone!
