Accessibility and accessibility at PLT
An enjoyable evening of theatre starts with good preparation. That's why at PLT we make sure that all our locations - Theater Heerlen, Theater Kerkrade and the Toon Hermans Theater Sittard - are easy to reach and as accessible as possible.
Are you coming by car, public transport or walking? Each theatre page has information on routes, parking facilities and public transport. So you know exactly where you stand.
Even if you are less mobile or use a wheelchair, we are happy to help you. For each theatre, we explain where the wheelchair spaces are, how to get to the venues and what facilities are available - such as accessible toilets or aids for the hard of hearing.

Accessibility Theater Heerlen
Theatre Heerlen is easy to reach - whether you come by train or by car. Park inexpensively right under the theatre or at 't Loon and walk straight into the magic of the evening.
Accessibility Theater Kerkrade
Theatre Kerkrade is located in the middle of town and is easy to reach, also by public transport. Nearby, you can often park for free - especially in the evening and on Sundays. So your theatre evening starts stress-free.
Accessibility Toon Hermans Theatre Sittard
The Toon Hermans Theatre is a few minutes' walk from Sittard train station and is therefore easy to reach. Parking is available nearby, often for free in the evening. So walk in relaxed, ready for a great performance.

Performances for senior citizens
In cooperation with the Vier het Leven foundation, we offer seniors the opportunity to go to a performance together with a volunteer - at Theater Heerlen, Theater Kerkrade or the Toon Hermans Theater Sittard.
Performances for the deaf and hard of hearing
In cooperation with Theatre with Interpreter, we have a selection of performances next season in which an interpreter of Dutch Sign Language and/or a written interpreter is present. You will find the selection below.
Performances for the visually impaired
Even if you are blind or visually impaired, you are welcome at PLT. We do everything to make your theatre visit pleasant and accessible.

Wheelchair accessible
Everyone is welcome at PLT. Even if you are less agile, walk with a walker or are in a wheelchair. Our theatres are designed so that you can move around easily and enjoy your evening carefree.
