Convenient parking at Theater Heerlen – in partnership with Q-Park
A night out gets off to a relaxed start when you can park your car easily. Many visitors park in the Q-Park car park directly beneath Theater Heerlen (maximum clearance height 2 metres). You’ll be at the entrance in no time via the lift or stairs. Is it full there? Then you can use the Q-Park car park under ’t Loon, across the street.
New: order your parking ticket in advance
When booking your theatre tickets, you can order an e-parking ticket at the same time. This guarantees you a space and means you no longer have to keep an eye on the time. For €7.25, you can park for 6 hours – which works out cheaper than the standard hourly rate for a visit of 3 hours or more. You can order an e-parking ticket up to 1 year in advance. Is your performance more than a year away? In that case, a parking ticket isn’t available yet. From one year before the performance, you can still order one separately via our Q-Park page.

Do you already have tickets for a show in Heerlen, but no parking ticket yet? No problem. You can still order your e-parking ticket below.
Please note: you must order your parking permit no later than 1 hour before you plan to enter the car park.
For example, do you want to park at 7.00 pm? Then order before 6.00 pm. After that time, you will no longer be able to buy a parking ticket.
Here’s how it works:
- Select your country of origin for your registration number.
- Enter your registration number (without dashes or spaces).
- Do you have a German number plate? If so, do use a hyphen after the city letters (for example: AC-BB123).
- Enter the date and start time of entry.
- The start time must be no more than 3 hours before the performance.
- Choose whether you want to park in the TheaterParking car park beneath Theater Heerlen or in the car park at ’t Loon.
- Click on ‘Check availability’.
- If there’s a space available and your number plate is correct, you can proceed to payment.
- You’ll receive your parking ticket straight away by email.
- Please note! Drive calmly into the car park. Wait until the barrier turns green and opens. So do not drive straight in behind the car in front of you. If you do, your parking session will not start correctly and your parking ticket may cause problems.
This e-parking ticket costs €7.25 and allows you to park for 6 hours.

You can order an e-parking ticket up to 1 year in advance. Is your performance more than 1 year away? If so, a parking ticket is not yet available. From 1 year before the performance, you can still order one separately via this page.
I can’t make it – what should I do with the e-parking ticket?
Please call our box office on 045-5716607 during opening hours. We’ll convert your ticket into digital credit. You can cancel up to 1 hour before your entry time, provided it’s within our opening hours. After that, cancellation is no longer possible.
My registration number has changed – what should I do?
Please ring our ticket office in good time on 045-5716607 – they will update it for you.
Change or cancel your entry time?
Please contact the ticket office for this as well. You can do this up to 1 hour before your booked entry time. After that, unfortunately, it is no longer possible to change or cancel.
The performance has been rescheduled or cancelled – what happens to my e-parking ticket?
If the performance is cancelled, you’ll also be refunded the parking fee. The e-parking ticket will be manually cancelled and credited to your account as a digital credit . Would you like a refund? Please contact our box office on 045-5716607.
If the performance is rescheduled and your e-parking ticket is automatically converted, we’ll let you know. Can’t make it on the new date? No problem – you can still cancel and you’ll get your parking fees refunded.
What should I do if I have problems entering or exiting?
Is the barrier not opening? Then use the QR code on your e-ticket (top right) to enter and exit.
Still need help?
Press the help button on the intercom (hold it down until you hear a dial tone). The button is behind a slider marked with an ‘i’. A Q-park member of staff will assist you.
I’ve stayed longer than the specified end time – what should I do?
If you’ve stayed longer than the 6 hours included in your e-parking ticket, you can simply pay the extra amount by debit card at the barrier when you leave. It’s that easy.
Are the paper discount cards still available at the theatre?
Unfortunately, these are no longer available at the theatre box office or inside the building.
I also have the Q-Park app – do they work together?
It works perfectly alongside your e-parking card. As soon as you order an e-parking card, the Q-Park app is temporarily deactivated. So you don’t need to make any manual changes, which prevents you from paying twice.
Can I also buy an e-parking pass for Theater Kerkrade or Toon Hermans Theater Sittard?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to order an e-parking ticket for Theater Kerkrade or the Toon Hermans Theater in Sittard.
