Halls in Theater Heerlen - how to find your way
At Theater Heerlen, it is unfortunately not possible to drop someone off directly in front of the main entrance. You can be dropped off next to the building, at the disabled parking spaces.
- These are on the square to the left of the main entrance.
- From there it is about a 50-metre walk to the entrance
Need help arriving? Feel free to speak to one of our staff - we will be happy to think with you.
Theatre Heerlen has three halls: the Great Hall, the Limburgzaal and the Small Hall. Each hall has its own place in the building and its own route to it.
Main Hall
- Located on the 1st floor
- Accessible via the large staircase to the left and right of the main entrance
- Or take the lift, useful if you are less agile
Limburgzaal
- Located at the back of the building
- Accessible via:
- 3 stairs: 1 staircase up and down to get to the rear building, then 1 staircase up to the hall
- 3 lifts: 1 lift up and down to the rear building, then 1 lift up to the platform
Small Hall
- Located on floor -1
- You get there via:
- A staircase
- Or 2 lifts: 1 to the mezzanine, then another 1 down
Follow the signs in the theatre or feel free to ask a staff member for help. We will be happy to help you on your way!
Wheelchair spaces in our halls
Where are the wheelchair spaces in the Great Hall?
Wheelchair spaces are available on several grades in the Main Hall. Please note that specific maximum dimensions apply to each spot, depending on the venue and accessibility via lifts or hall corridors. Sizes include fold-out pieces such as footrests.
