In the Lowland Hall, wheelchair spaces are in the first row. Due to the dimensions of the lift, maximum sizes for wheelchairs apply. At Toon Hermans Theatre Sittard, you can simply be dropped off in front of the main entrance. This is handy if you have difficulty walking or want to accompany someone to the door. You will then be right at the entrance.

Toon Hermans Theatre Sittard has two halls: the Great Hall and the Lowland Hall. Each hall has its own place in the building and its own route to it.

Main Hall

Located on the ground floor
Directly accessible via the main entrance
The balcony can be reached by stairs or lift

Lowland Room

Located on the 1st floor
Accessible by stairs
Or take the lift, useful if you are less agile

Walking disabilities

Not all places in the Main Hall and Lowland Hall of Toon Hermans Theatre Sittard are equally accessible to people with walking difficulties. Below you can read what is and is not possible.

Main Hall

The lower auditorium is completely free of stairs and therefore easily accessible.
You reach the balcony by lift and exit at row 25.
- Visually impaired? Then ask for a seat in the lower hall or row 25.

Lowland Hall

The hall rises steeply with stairs from row 2 .
- Visually impaired? Then ask for a place in row 1, which is easiest to reach.

The hospitality areas are easily accessible by wheelchair. Under the balcony on the right (ground floor) you will find a sloping path for extra convenience

Parking with a disabled parking card

Are you visiting Toon Hermans Theatre Sittard with a disabled parking card? Then there are parking facilities in front of the theatre.

Free parking for a maximum of 3 hours with a disabled pass and parking disc
From 7 pm onwards, this maximum time no longer applies and you do not need to use the blue disc
