Why do theatres work with seasons?
Theatre is all about looking ahead. Creators often develop performances months or even years in advance. That is why theatres work with theatre seasons. A theatre season usually runs from September to June. During that period, artists, companies and concerts tour theatres across the country. This creates a new programme full of stories, encounters and live moments every season. For visitors, this makes choosing extra fun. You discover new makers, see familiar names and plan great evenings out for the months to come.
