Talent wanted: sing along with The Diamond Baritones at the Toon Hermans Theatre
The Diamond Baritones have already performed with André Rieu and reached the final of Holland’s Got Talent. With The Circle of Life , they present a theatre show packed with opera, Broadway classics and well-known musical numbers. Under the artistic direction of Stanley Burleson, Marcel Visscher and André Rieu, the show is touring the Netherlands. In every city where the show is performed, a local young talent will join them on stage.
The performance will take place on 27 November 2026 at the Toon Hermans Theater in Sittard. The Diamond Baritones are looking for one young singing talent aged approximately 10 to 18 from the Sittard / South Limburg region. Someone who would like to perform as a special guest in the show and take part in a free series of masterclasses led by several well-known musical theatre artists.
Who are we looking for?
A musical talent aged approximately 10 to 18 from the Sittard / South Limburg region, with a passion for singing, music and theatre. Experience is welcome, but enthusiasm, musicality and the desire to develop are just as important.
This is what the chosen talent will receive during the performance:
- Their own performance featuring a solo number of their choice in the first part of the show
- A part in the joint opening number with the cast of The Circle of Life
- The chance to perform on a professional stage in front of a large theatre audience
One young talent from the relevant region will be selected for each performance.
Three days of free masterclasses
Prior to the performance, the selected talents will attend three days of masterclasses in the centre of the Netherlands. Under the guidance of professional musical theatre and stage performers, they will work on singing, dancing and acting — and on everything involved in professional theatre life. The masterclass days will take place at weekends in September 2026. The final dates will be announced as soon as possible. Participation in the full programme is free of charge.

- Briefly introduce yourself
- Sing for at least one minute

- Mention any singing, musical theatre, theatre or stage experience
