Rare, crazy and heartily Sittards
From 28 to 30 August 2025 , the colourful procession of the Sint Rosa Festival will once again set up camp in the Schootsvelden of Sittard. Expect a rare mix of spectacle, music, art and experience for young and old.
During the day, you will experience fun for the whole family. In the evening, the raw edges burgeon with fire pits, live music and unexpected encounters. The Saint Rosa Festival is a modern ode to the fair of yesteryear - with curiosities, maverick performers, thousands of lights and a dash of whimsy.

This year, Sint Rosa is once again collaborating with PLT. In the Theatre Tent Deluxe we will give you a taste of our new theatre programming 26/27. Expect short performances, surprises and fine atmosphere.
All activities in the Theatre Tent are free of charge.
Why the lion as a mascot?
In 1938, a circus lion escaped during St Rosa's mass in Sittard and stormed into St Michael's Church. The story made headlines worldwide and has lived on as a legend ever since. Today, Asor is the face of a festival that stirs the imagination.
