The carnival heart beats for 't Sjunste op de Welt.
This close to carnival, the Kerkrade Symphony Orchestra's carnival heart starts beating faster. The symphonies are put aside and the black dinner jacket jackets are swapped for carnival-style outfits: the KSO is again ready for the annual Vasteloavendskonzeëte!
This festive prelude to the Drei Dol Daag traditionally starts with the Jardemars and will end, as always, with 't Sjunste op de Welt. In between, you will hear beautiful light classical music and enjoy special soloists as well as a special surprise act. And of course, the Prince and Council of 11 will also be present this year.
A fine tradition
This concert is a collaboration between the Kerkrade Symphony Orchestra, PLT and the Kirchöatsjer Vasteloavends Verain. Tip: buy your ticket(s) early, as the Vasteloavendskonzeëte sell out quickly every year.
