Frequently asked questions about ticket sales

How do I buy tickets?

You can buy your tickets online, over the phone or at the box office - whatever is convenient for you.

Is there an age limit for performances?

For regular performances, a minimum age of 2 years applies . Not all performances are suitable for all ages. Sometimes a different recommended age or a minimum age applies - for example for children's performances or performances with explicit content. For each performance on our website, we state this as clearly as possible.

Does my child also need a ticket?

Yes, for security reasons, everyone entering the auditorium must have a ticket. This also applies to baby performances and ToddlerToddler Mornings. Even if you were to take the child on your lap during the performance, the child will need its own ticket.

How do I buy tickets for a large group?

Call us on 045-571 66 07 to arrange your group visit - we are happy to think with you.

How do I reserve wheelchair spaces?

Wheelchair spaces can only be booked by phone on 045-571 66 07. It is currently not possible to book them online.

I have mobility problems, which places are best to book?

On this page you will find all information on the accessibility of our theatres (broken down by theatre). Do you have mobility problems? Then there is a separate section with tips and explanations, so you know exactly what to expect.

Do I pay service and/or transaction fees?

On each performance page, you will clearly see the prices per grade. These amounts include service charges. Good to know: we do not charge a booking fee. So the price you see is the price you pay.

Can I pay for my tickets with a gift card?

You can pay with your PODIUM Cadeaukaart online, by phone and at the box office. More information can be found here.

Are printed cards required on entry?

No, you don't necessarily have to. You can also show your e-ticket on your smartphone, as long as the qr-code is legible and we can scan it. If that does not work, we will still ask you to print the ticket and bring it to the performance.

Can I still cancel or exchange my tickets?

You can still cancel or exchange your tickets up to one day before the performance. Submit a cancellation request online via your account or contact us by phone. The cost is €2.50 per ticket. For Friends of PLT this service is free. You will receive a digital credit.

I have lost my (e-)tickets, what should I do?

Please feel free to contact us. We will find your order in our system and can re-mail or print the tickets for you. There is always someone from our box office on the day of the performance as well. They will be happy to help you at the performance box office.

Is there a waiting list for sold-out performances?

Yes, you can get put on the waiting list via the performance page or by phone (045-5716607). Sometimes places become available. In that case, we will contact you and you can still go to the performance. We will also let you know immediately if additional performance dates are booked.

How do I book an introduction to a performance?

For performances with an introduction, this is clearly stated on the performance page. You can book the introduction during the ordering process (step 1).

Do you already have your tickets, but still want to book an introduction? Then call us on 045-5716607 - we will be happy to arrange it for you.

Are tickets from other outlets valid?

PLT only accepts tickets purchased through our own website or through authorised outlets: Eventim, National Theatre Box Office, Ticketmaster, Poppodium Nieuwe Nor and ADticket (schrit_tmacher).

Do you buy tickets elsewhere? Then you run the risk of them being invalid. We reserve the right to refuse these tickets.
