A journey full of wonderful encounters: with a stressed-out hippo and an itchy elephant, hospitable aunts, a goat in love, an untrustworthy crow...
In the footsteps of West African storytellers
Amadou is inspired by the work of Malian author Amadou Hampâté Bâ. He collected and recorded mythical stories from the collective memory of the Peul people. In this performance, actress Aminata Demba follows in the footsteps of West African storytellers. She takes on the role of a child with a head full of small and big questions. Her search for answers becomes an adventure in which she also discovers herself.
