Snarky Puppy
Over twenty years ago, Michael League founded the globally acclaimed instrumental collective Snarky Puppy. Bill Laurance has been part of this world touring adventure from the beginning. Outside Snarky Puppy, the two jazz innovators made the album Where You Wish You Were. The tour of the same name brought them to Heerlen in 2024. Keeping Company deepens their musical conversation. Laurance's piano and League's oed and fretless bass bring together Western harmonic feel with Middle Eastern timbres. This results in a musical language that is intimate, layered and deeply expressive.
