Drenched blues from a pedigree artist
Brian Templeton has been among the stalwarts of international blues for decades. As a singer, songwriter and virtuoso harmonica player, he knows better than anyone how to bring the raw feel and rich tradition of the blues to life.
His career began in the 1990s as frontman of the Boston band The Radio Kings, with which he released several albums and toured extensively in the United States and Europe. During that period, he worked with Jerry Portnoy, known for his work with Muddy Waters and Eric Clapton, among others.
International career and collaborations
Templeton also built an impressive track record as a solo artist. With albums like Home and Bloozin, he collaborated with leading blues musicians and his reputation continued to grow.
He performed on stages all over the world - from Europe and Canada to Russia, Africa and Dubai - and shared the stage with artists like Otis Grand, Sonny Rhodes and James Cotton.
In addition, he was frontman of The Proven Ones, among others, whose album You Ain't Done reached the No 1 position on the Billboard Blues Chart. He was also part of The Knickerbocker All Stars and is currently frontman of The Delta Generators, with whom he recently toured Europe.
