A comical musical sermon on love

Three iconic Js characterise his career: Jimmy, the song written for him. John Lennon, his first musical role ánd Jesus, his portrayal in The Passion. Now Jim de Groot is breaking new ground. Together with childhood friend Sebas Wolfensberger on bass guitar, he will perform CabaRock De Liefde!

Raw, poetic and confrontational musical theatre

Together, Jim and Sebas perform raw, poetic and confrontational musical theatre, in which fragile songs and solid rock are interspersed with sharp observations and hilarious stories. The show is a musically framed sermon on love and why humanity should not fuck it up. "They're not there to be poetic, topical and funny; they do what they do and that turns out poetic, topical and funny," said one visitor.
