The title Creedence Gold refers to CCR's legendary 1972 compilation album of the same name; also the final chord of a short but unprecedentedly successful period. At the same time, Creedence Gold is an ode to the golden '60s and '70s, when Creedence Clearwater Revival's music dominated the charts.
