Dorona Alberti not only gained fame as the celebrated singer of Gare du Nord, but also shone in recent years as a soloist with Andre Rieu's orchestra. For more than 20 years, she has performed on stages at home and abroad. In 20 Years & More, Dorona looks back on her career, in which her voice became the soundtrack of thousands of jazzy, club and theatre nights.
In this show, Dorona takes a personal path; back to the music, the story, the passion. But of course also splashing, swinging and cocky! Accompanied by her band, this top singer performs her best-known songs and surprising reinterpretations. An unforgettable energetic evening full of passion and musical playfulness.
A trip down memory Lane
Dorona Alberti made solo projects and had wonderful collaborations and co-productions, including with the Metropole Orchestra in The music from James Bond. But she gave her heart to Gare Du Nord. And in 2024, she toured the world as André Rieu's special guest. At the 2025 King's Concert, she splashed off the tube when she sang the grand aria from Mozart's Don Giovanni for the Royal Household. And in late 2025, with Pynarello, she brought the (jazz) opera Jon Giovanni to theatres. To quote Andre Rieu: "An evening with Dorona Alberti is "a theatre evening to remember! She is like dynamite!"
