A meditative, subdued and powerful concert by the standard-bearer of phenomenal choral singing from the Baltic states.

The Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir is standard-bearer of phenomenal choral singing from the Baltic states; of the work of Arvo Pärt in particular. The music of the Etste composer who reached the honourable age of 90 in 2026 can be heard all over the world. But rarely so pure and profound as with this choir from his own homeland, with which the composer himself also enjoys working. Indeed, Part always composes his music with this special choir in mind.

Music by Martin, Glass & Pärt

The Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir has shone in New York's Carnegie Hall, at the BBC Proms in London and also previously on our concert stage. This time, led by conductor Tõnu Kaljuste, the singers combine music by Philip Glass and Frank Martin with a selection from Pärt's best-known choral works. Meditative, subdued and powerful at the same time. Exactly as the composer intended them.
