In 2027, Fanfare St. Caecilia Schimmert will opt for the flexible competition form Jury at Home. Instead of participating in a federal competition or the World Music Contest, the brass band invites 'the jury' to its own playing environment. This allows for a total concert experience.
Unique concert programmes
In recent years, Fanfare St. Caecilia Schimmert shone in special and substantively strong concert programmes, such as Os Limburgs Hart, HOMMAGE - in memory of Sef Pijpers and Engelenburcht. This way of working is also the starting point now. Within the Jury at Home concept, the orchestra is professionally assessed on musical level, sound and ensemble playing. For the audience, this means a concert with a clear line and its own character, where the music is central and where there is room for special additions that deepen the experience.
