However, their happiness proves fragile when society's strict morals and pressure from Alfredo's family undermine their relationship.
What follows is a dramatic and moving story in which love, honour and sacrifice inevitably collide. With a large ensemble of international soloists, choir and orchestra, the National Opera of Northern Macedonia presents a stylish and compelling performance of this world-famous work.
