An enchanting family opera

Hans & Grietje op de vlucht! is an enchanting, musical family opera for everyone aged 8 and up! Between dream and reality and full of humour and imagination, Opera Rebels Collective and Opera2Day tell the well-known fairy tale to the magical music of Humperdinck. With an ensemble of thirteen musicians, narrator Nils Verkooijen and four singers on stage, a timeless story about courage and the indispensable power of being together unfolds. Krekel prize-winner Jibbe Willems wrote the new Dutch translation for this new opera experience for young and old, in which nothing is what it seems....
