Experience it from the inside: join in with A Mass on the Move

The works of Johannes Bellinkx and Benjamin Vandewalle have already been widely seen – or rather, experienced – at dozens of European festivals, with audience favourites such asJohannes ’s ‘ ’ and Benjamin’s ‘Reverse ’ and‘Studio Cité ’. This time, they’re appearing at Cultura Nova for the first time and joining forces for their newproject, A Mass on the Move. Inspired by the large crowds that turn up for performances (including here at Cultura Nova) , they want to create an experience for a large group of people.

The work is still in the creative phase. Drawing on themes such as slowing down, softening and connecting, they want to explore – together with you, the audience – how they can bring these qualities to life in public space. To this end, they invite you to experience the first versions of the work and help develop it alongside them. It will be an interactive performance in which you’ll experience the work in an immersive way from the inside out. And perhaps in the future you could be part of the XL version of this work!

Your contribution will make all the difference. If you take part, you’ll be committing to two sessions. Sat 29 and Mon 31 or Sun 30 and Mon 31. Of course, you’re very welcome to take part in all three sessions!
