A musical afternoon where the joy of playing comes splashing out.
The Junior Jazz Ensemble of Conservatorium Maastricht aims to bring together euregional young talented musicians and enthuse them about jazz music. During the year, the talents work hard on a repertoire. Playing together and improvisation are of paramount importance. In this matinee concert, they show their skills and the juniors, now a close-knit club, will perform a mix of blues, jazz, Latin and well-known pieces from the American Songbook, adapted with their own arrangements. They will also sound their own compositions.
