Don't expect a traditional concert at LAKSHMI. Here, I am alone with You is an immersive encounter at the intersection of music, performance and visual art. In collaboration with visual artist Roel Weerdenburg, worlds are created in which sound and image merge into a total experience.
With layered songs, poetic lyrics and penetrating visuals, LAKSHMI thus creates a cinematic experience in which the audience is not just a spectator, but part of a vulnerable, comforting and sometimes confrontational journey.
About LAKSHMI
LAKSHMI is a songwriter, singer and theatre-maker. In her spherical electronic pop, she weaves themes of activism, personal growth and love into a layered, quirky musical world. Her fascination with different art forms is reflected in magical-realist music videos and compelling live shows, in which music and images reinforce each other. LAKSHMI's distinctive voice floats above dark synthesizers and deep drums: seductive, intense and elusive.
Since her debut in 2017, she has released multiple releases, played on stages across Europe with LP and participated in Wie is de Mol? She performed in both pop venues and theatres as well as performing at the United Nations headquarters in New York, where she played and spoke about intersectionality. Her third album will be released in autumn 2026. As an ambassador for 'Plan International', LAKSHMI is also committed to girls' rights and climate justice. She connects art and activism and uses her work to raise awareness and touch people.
