For the Desmet family, Christmas Eve is all about stories from the past and reminiscing. Traditionally, grandfather Achiel takes the lead; his photo collection transports the whole family back in time in a flash. But nothing is as it seems. Grandpa loses his sense of time due to dementia. His memories fade like a photo on a light-sensitive disc.
