Luka Bloom needs no introduction. If only because the 70-year-old Irish singer-songwriter has been part of our country's soundtrack for over 35 years and still plays Dutch concert halls with regularity. He last took to the stage in Heerlen in 2023.

"For 35 years, coming to the Lowlands to sing my songs, has always been very special. And this year it will be even more so. In 2025 I turned 70 years of age. I celebrated this birthday by releasing a new song called BELOVED. Other songs and two instrumental pieces I wrote just before I went into hospital in Dublin for open heart surgery. The record is dedicated to the surgeon, doctors and nurses, family and friends who saved my life. Thank you Life."
