Matt Simons back in the Netherlands

After a completely sold-out tour of Dutch and German theatres in autumn 2025, Matt Simons announces a new series of shows. He will return to Dutch theatres in spring 2027 with a new extended tour.

In May 2025, he released his fifth studio album Sun In California. About this album, Simons said, "It sounds like something I want to listen to myself, and that's always the music I try to make. I feel this is another step in my quest to sound more like myself. With each album, I get closer to that." And he comes to Heerlen Theatre with great pleasure to show this own sound.

About Matt Simons

Matt Simons has been building a strong connection with European audiences in recent years, especially Dutch audiences. His breakthrough came with 'With You' in the series Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden, followed by the success of 'Catch & Release'. Since then, it has been impossible to imagine the radio and live circuit without him, with songs like 'We Can Do Better', 'To The Water', 'Open Up' and 'Better Tomorrow'.

Born in Palo Alto, he released his debut album Pieces in 2012. Sun In California marks his fifth album. Meanwhile, he is working on new material. With his new music and renewed focus, Matt Simons is looking forward to hitting Dutch theatres again.
