The show Girls & Princes delves into the world of girls with their own dreams, unfulfilled desires, irritating princes and mean practices. Life is not a fairy tale, the girls in this show find out. Whether they are paired with a money-grubbing king, a frog who can't change shape or a spoilt little prince.
Growing up in a world full of expectations
Girls & Princes shows what it is like to grow up in a world full of expectations, especially their own. For this performance, Het Filiaal brought together stories from the bookDe Meisjes by Annet Schaap in a brand-new adaptation by Don Duyns. Gábor Tarján created the composition for the performance, which is performed by Dirge Seçil Kuran (percussion), Anan Alkadamani (violin) and six singers from the Netherlands Bach Society.

About The Branch
