A mesmerising bridge between Istanbul and the Netherlands.
Inspired by a myth about a disappearing planet, Min Taka shares her inner world through a genre-defying sound that moves between indie, liquid DNB, synth and hyperpop. Min Taka is the band led by singer Yasemin Koyuncu, based between Istanbul and Rotterdam. Her songs explore themes such as identity, belonging, femininity and connection. With her band, she combines hypnotic grooves with spacious soundscapes and emotionally charged vocals, creating a sonic universe that ranges from intimate and soft to intense electronic turmoil. Inspired by artists such as Mitski, Sassy 009, Cocteau Twins, Kero Kero Bonito and Charli XCX, this pixie-pop artist’s latest EP, *I Think We Should Just Move In Together*, was released in July 2025. It achieved over 1 million streams within a week, and the lead track ‘Boston’ featured on more than 80 playlists worldwide.
