Pas op voor de billenbijter! is the closing act of the BoekieWoekie Festival. Are you brave enough? Every evening around eight o’clock, a very strange creature crawls under Fiep’s bed. The bum-biter, the poo-goblin, the kiss-beast and the poo-monster all emerge. But there are no monsters under your bed. Are there?

Pas op voor de billenbijter! is a hilariously gruesome horror show by Joes. She previously created *Dikkie Dik and the Cake*,*I Could Do with a Little Baby*,*This Knight Says NO* and *Hey Cow, Where Are You Going? *. Joes adapts popular children’s books into interactive shows full of music and humour for young and old alike.
We do need to warn you about ‘Watch out for the bum-biter! ’: enter at your own risk!
The BoekieWoekie Festival
Pas op voor de billenbijter! is part of SCHUNCK’s BoekieWoekie Festival: the festive finale to Children’s Book Week in Heerlen.
On Sunday 11 October, PLT will be all about stories. Children aged 4 to 8 and their parents and grandparents can take part in workshops and creative activities centred on theatre, music, dance and children’s books between 11.30 am and 4.00 pm.
This year’s Children’s Book Week theme is ‘Spotlight!’. And where better to experience that than in the theatre? Discover what it feels like to stand on a real stage, learn some hip-hop moves, make music, try on theatre costumes or take part in a musical workshop.
Entry to the BoekieWoekie Festival is free.
