Anyone who has ever heard a song by Paul Carrack will immediately understand why. On Wednesday 28 October, he will be performing an exclusive concert at Theater Heerlen.
Carrack made his breakthrough with ‘How Long’ (from his time with Ace), sang the irresistible ‘Tempted’ with Squeeze, and scored global hits with ‘Over My Shoulder’ and ‘The Living Years’. His voice is unmistakable, warm, soulful, and always hits the right note.
As well as his own work, he played keyboards for many years with some of the world’s greatest musicians: Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, Elton John and B.B. King. He also made his mark as a songwriter: his songs have been recorded by artists including The Eagles, Diana Ross and Tom Jones.
