On Sunday 21 February, the Toon Hermans Theatre is hosting the youth and family theatre festival PLUUSJ. With Om and Om and Om and Heb je mijn zusje gezien? there will be plenty to enjoy for toddlers and parents. Big kids from 6 onwards can go on an adventure with Pippi.
When Pippi Longstocking receives a bottle mail from her father, she discovers that he is being held captive by dangerous pirates. For Pippi, there is only one solution: she must go to the mysterious island of Taka Tuka to rescue her father.
The craziest adventures
Together with her best friends Tommie and Annika, Pippi sets off on a journey full of unexpected
twists and turns. With an air mattress, a self-built plane and a good dose of guts, they travel across seas and islands in search of the pirate island. Along the way, they experience the craziest adventures, meet pirates and keep coming up with new plans to outwit their enemies.
Pippi and the Pirates is an imaginative family show full of music, humour and adventure, based on the beloved stories by Astrid Lindgren. In the style of Theatre Terra, puppetry, music and spectacular design come together in a joyful theatrical adventure for the whole family.
