Over 20 years of Razorlight!

Razorlight are coming to the Nieuwe Nor on 9 December as part of the ‘America’ 20th Anniversary Tour! British indie heroes Razorlight are known for their energetic mix of catchy melodies, raw guitars and irresistible Britpop. The band, fronted by Johnny Borrell, was formed in London in 2002 and achieved worldwide success with hits such as“Golden Touch”,“In The Morning” and their breakthrough single“America”. That track will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2026, and to mark the occasion, they’re heading out on a world tour this winter. You can catch them at the Nieuwe Nor on 9 December!

Razorlight were formed in London in 2002 and quickly became one of the most prominent names on the British indie rock scene. With their debut album *Up All Night* (2004) and the successful, self-titled album *Razorlight* (2006), the band led by frontman Johnny Borrell won over a huge global following. Hits such as“Golden Touch”,“In The Morning” and“America” established Razorlight as a fixture of the Britpop wave of the 2000s. After a period out of the spotlight, the band returned with new music and renewed energy, with their signature blend of sharp guitars, catchy melodies and rousing choruses still at the heart of their sound. In 2026, the band will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their breakthrough album“America” with a world tour.
