Three musical worlds come together in Sietepè
Gabriel Rios and Augusto Bracho were already admirers of each other’s music when they decided to perform together and write songs. Producer and multi-instrumentalist Ruben Samama, who had previously collaborated with Rios, joined them. Under the name Sietepè, the three musicians are now touring together.
Latin American traditions in the here and now
The collaboration resulted in the album Edad media, a collection of original compositions inspired by Latin American musical heritage. Sietepè approaches these traditions from a contemporary perspective and blends them with the diverse musical backgrounds of Rios, Bracho and Samama.
From Puerto Rico, Venezuela and the Netherlands to a single stage
Sietepè brings together three musicians with backgrounds in Puerto Rico, Venezuela and the Netherlands. Their different musical worlds collide, ignite and merge into a new whole. During the concert at Theater Heerlen, Gabriel Rios, Augusto Bracho and Ruben Samama will present their collaborative music live on stage.
