Everywhere around us sounds: voices, rustling, banging, crackling. For little ears, that's a lot. And sometimes everything sounds at once. Then there is so much sound, it almost makes your ears dizzy. That's why Club Wauw joins your baby in a search for peace and quiet amid the noise. For silence. But... where is this silence? Can you hold it? Or is she hidden? And is it really quiet? Or do you suddenly hear a new sound in the silence?
A journey through an enchanting world of sounds
In Stilte, two actors with their ears pricked up and a microphone discover a landscape full of rustling, rattling and creaking. Amid the noise, they search for peace in the small. For stillness in time and sound. Where does the softest whisper take you? They listen curiously to sound worlds hidden in ordinary things and in themselves. For those who dare to be quiet for a moment and listen softly, discover that silence is never completely silent. And sometimes you might hear something you never heard before.
