The sparkling dream world of film
Ratzke lets you wander through the sparkling dream world of film; from the first flickering images in a diorama to the grandeur of Hollywood and the poetry of cinema masters like Fellini, Fassbinder, Hitchcock and Lynch. Familiar film songs resound in surprising new arrangements, and between the images and music Ratzke makes divas and dreamers come to life. You might just find Greta Garbo or Miss Piggy suddenly standing in front of you. In KOPFKINO, the stage turns into a living movie screen and you are transported to a universe where anything is possible!

In recent seasons, Ratzke has performed to sold-out venues from Amsterdam to New York with his tributes to legends such as Marlene Dietrich and David Bowie. His shows, which were also performed at PLT, are characterised by a fascinating mix of theatre and cabaret, always with compelling music as a common thread that he moulds to his own will. An evening with Sven Ratzke is always different, surprising, musical, often hilarious and always completely authentic.
