Having a Chet with BakerTheater Heerlen - Kleine Zaal
An evening about heroes, hopeless romance, trial and error AND music inspired by The Prince of Cool
"You just have to find something you really like to do and then get better at it than the rest," said Chet Baker. Having a Chet with Baker tells a raw and honest story of 'the boy who got well'. Starting young to play the trumpet, he ended up at the conservatoire after several wanderings.
Heart on the table
Inspired by Baker's melancholy, Thomas Heikoop wrote a theatre programme full of songs of himself, his heroes, hopeless romance, falling and getting up once more. Be surprised by this versatile singer and trumpeter, who effortlessly throws his heart on the table and shares his love for the music of The Prince of Cool.
