Tim Knol walks. Not with the dog, but around Texel, through Norway with his little daughter on his back, around the IJsselmeer, from the three countries point to Groningen. During those walks, he looks back on his previous life as the sociable but also obese singer-songwriter.

Walking has slowly but surely crept into Tim's songs. Restlessness has given way to reflection, anger is now love. At Wanderings, Tim talks about his walks and plays the songs that played an important role during these long treks. But fortunately, much is also the same as before: Tim alone on a stage full of instruments, beautiful covers and many new songs. What has changed? Tim himself. That's what Wanderings is about.
