Tonnie's Gitanos brings cultures together with an original mix of authentic Gypsy music and Limburg evergreens. From Sjef Diederen to Django Reinhardt and from the nostalgic sounds of Carboon to the rousing energy of Hot Club de France.
With great attention, love and respect for the culture of Roma and Sinti, Tonnie's Gitanos translates authentic Limburg songs into infectious Limbogypsy. While the band fervently plays the stars from heaven, frontman Ton Meisen takes you on a journey through Limburg. To do so, he crawls into a role you might not expect from him, with a laugh and a tear.

Tonnie's Gitanos consists of a group of passionate musicians, who together create an atmosphere that is both nostalgic and innovative. Each performance is a celebration of both Limburg culture and Gipsy culture. The band succeeds in beautifully intertwining these two worlds. Frontman Ton Meisen 's deep voice and charismatic charisma make each song a story in itself. His renditions of Limburg classics take on a new dimension through the influences of Gypsy music. Even own compositions are steeped in the rich musical traditions of both cultures.
