Pioneers of British rock history
Uriah Heep are among the founding fathers of British hard rock and heavy metal. Since their inception in the late 1960s, the band played an important role in the development of the genre, alongside names like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Deep Purple. With their debut album Very 'Eavy, Very 'Umble, they laid the foundations for a distinctive sound that combines powerful guitars, polyphonic vocals and the use of Hammond organ.

Classics and worldwide successes
In the 1970s, Uriah Heep grew into an international success band with albums like Demons and Wizards, The Magician's Birthday and Sweet Freedom, which went gold and reached the Billboard Top 40.
With songs like Gypsy, Bird of Prey and Easy Livin', the band built a solid live reputation, performing all over the world. In total, Uriah Heep sold more than 40 million albums worldwide.
