AROUND THE WORLD
When German Brass takes the stage, you can expect a brass experience of the highest level. Eleven soloists together form an ensemble that sets the tone worldwide - thanks to technical perfection, but above all to a compelling musical passion.
In the first part of the programme, the ensemble bridges the European tradition. With works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Georg Philipp Telemann and Giuseppe Verdi, German Brass showcases the full festive splendour of classical music. In exclusive arrangements, you will experience how these masterpieces from the past come back to life fresh and sparkling. The warm, full sound of trombones and tubas blends perfectly with the radiant brilliance of the trumpets.
After the interval, under the motto 'AROUND THE WORLD', the ensemble breaks through all genre boundaries and takes you on a virtuoso journey through cultures and eras. Supported by percussion, a musical panorama unfolds that ranges from the compelling drive of the big band era to the fiery passion of Argentine tango. In the process, the 11 top musicians prove their stylistic versatility: they know how to capture the lively charm of a Viennese Strauss Polka as well as fascinating sounds from all over the world. It is a whirlwind journey through music history, in which the highest technical virtuosity is combined with pure entertainment.
