Youngblood Brass Band is an explosive mix of New Orleans brass, hip-hop, punk and pure energy. Since 1998, the ten-piece collective from Madison, Wisconsin, has been breaking down musical boundaries with a unique sound full of brass, beats and grooves. What began as a modern take on traditional brass band culture has grown into a global phenomenon that gets audiences moving in clubs and at major festivals such as Roskilde, Glastonbury, Lowlands and Pukkelpop. On 25 October, the band is returning to Heerlen!

With their energetic live shows and genre-defying music, Youngblood Brass Band have collaborated with artists including hip-hop artist Talib Kweli and caught the attention of influential musicians and DJs worldwide. Albums such as *Unlearn*, *center:level* and *Pax Volumi* have cemented their reputation as one of the most innovative and powerful live brass bands of their generation. After more than two decades on stage, Youngblood Brass Band remains a unique live experience: a swirling combination of brass, rhythm and energy where standing still is simply not an option.
