Singing together with conductor Jos Beckers
Jos Beckers is a music teacher and conductor, born and raised in the Margraten and Bocholtz area.
He began playing music at the age of four, inspired by his father, who played the piano, trombone and drums. Through the local brass band, he learnt to play the clarinet and piano, and later discovered the saxophone.
He now teaches saxophone and clarinet at various schools and through music projects, and is the conductor of the Royal Walram Men’s Choir in Valkenburg and the Vijlen Mixed Choir.
Singing Together in Limburg
Singing together brings people together: enjoying well-known songs, a convivial atmosphere and letting go of all your worries for a while. During this session, well-known songs are sung, in dialect or other languages, with a short break. Jos accompanies on the piano and leads the singing, after which everyone gradually joins in.

Fancy a performance after the sing-along? On 14 November, you can attend the performance of *Achteraaf Bekeke* by Ton Engels in the MFzaal at Theater Kerkrade afterwards.
On 20 December, you can combine the sing-along with a performance of Jack Vinders’ *Clara’s Krismes* in the Grote Zaal.
