This Christmas tale cuts straight to your heart. Almost it's Christmas. And all Ronja dreams of is a Christmas tree. One of those nice big ones with lights in it. But her father has no money for a tree. Not for years, because he never keeps his job for long.
Then a small miracle happens: at Ronja's school, the caretaker knows that a Christmas tree vendor is needed in town. For a moment, the happy days seem to have arrived for Ronja and her big sister. There is even hot food on the table once again. But when the café manages to seduce her father again, a blissful Christmas threatens to go up in smoke. The brave Ronja and her sister do everything they can to make their Christmas dream come true. Against their better judgment.

Kerstboom te koop! (Christmas tree for sale) is an up-to-date Girl-with-the-Sulphur-Sticks. A musical fairy tale that - with something sweet and warm to go with it - brings everyone together in the darkest time of the year. The makers Silke van Kamp and Annet Bremen previously created the successful performance Het Sterrehuis at Het Laagland.
