A whirlwind silent performance about a head full of storm.
The world is full of vibrant energy. Sometimes so much that you long for silence. But then when it finally gets quiet ... it often actually sounds louder inside. That is what this special collaboration between Philzuid, Het Laagland and SALLY is about.
In Stiltestorm, you follow one young head in a bustling world. Whirling around him are musicians, dancers and actors who give all thoughts, doubts, impulses, desires a body, voice and rhythm. Today, this head goes in search of rebellion. Not a loud protest. But a breathtaking search for silence. Because what happens when you want to be silent, but your inner world screams. Can silence be anything other than emptiness?
And then... slowly a different kind of silence emerges. Not cold and lonely, but warm and in tune with yourself. Silent Storm is an inner journey through chaos, longing and stillness, until you hear what really wants to be heard.

schrit_tmacher Family Day
The schrit_tmacher Family Day has become a much-loved tradition within the festival. This year, the day will take place on Sunday 7 March 2027 at Theater Heerlen. Between 10:00 & 17:00, families can enjoy inspiring dance performances, participate in dance & creative workshops and other activities.
You do not need a ticket to visit the fringe programming. So all families can make their steps to the theatre full of dance.
